Meet Yogi: An Ambassador of Indian Street Art

Born in Mewat, ujima (village).. Little yogi had a desire to be a scientist which led him to look at the world with the lens of beauty and capture the beautiful colors in his art notebook.  Creativity was in the genes and they were sown in childhood nourished by his maternal grandfather.  While there was no artist in the village, Yogi always received encouragement from his immediate family, teachers. His first artwork was bought by his aunt and second by maternal uncle..

The desire of expression grew and to spread the knowledge he started teaching sketching while he was 12 years old…

He also taught various forms of art like for story boarding, pre-production, hand art…interior designing sketches..

The teaching itself was not sufficient to fulfill his dreams and made  him travel outside of his village.  Being fascinated by nature, emotions, human expressions and inspired by the rich heritage of Indian culture in different parts of the country… Yogi tried his hands to most of the art forms…

Though Wall-Art was not popular, however, While traveling he has earned relationships. For all his daily needs, people oblige him for art…

Yogi received a lot of appreciation.. for his art…

While traveling, Yogi focusses to build relationships… and  make friends..This helps in spreading his art.

As a Naturalist now, Yogi experiments with different forms of art and showcased a new perspective to promote views and beauty of Indian Culture.

He paints what comes to heart and all his paintings has an x-factor which reflects “Scientist yogi” in it..

He has a Vision-to spread his art around the world… which is mural painting, stage performance.

And recently Yogi and his crew was seen painting street walls DLF Phase-4 Gurugram showcasing rich heritage of Indian Art from its primitive days to make an open “Folk art Gallery

He lives a selfless life where the currency is love and wherever he goes, art work is exchanged in lieu of needs..

His dedication and selfless act of spreading art just out of love for art and he is proud to have 100s of families supporting his vision across the country…

He is hungry to spread the rich heritage of Indian culture and make the walls of the street a beautiful vision of Indian culture.
